The extra jumbo shrimp , lobster bisque, sirloin steak and appetizer of onion rings were amazing! The server was tremendous. The server answered all of my questions concerning the food, she was very friendly, and professional. I will definitely return to The Russell House for another meal.
The restaurant is nice. Has a private room for up to 16 available, an outside patio out front, an outside patio partially covered in back of rest., a private banquet room. Music Friday and Sat. nights during summer. Three rooms above rest. for rent. also.
Ordered take out on New Years Eve. Order was filled in a timely manner and food was delicious. I had a 8oz tenderloin and my husband had the pork chop dinner. Highly enjoyable dinner from Russell House
The Russell house is exactly halfway between me and my brother so we met there for the first time for lunch yesterday. It is amazing what they have done with the property since the remodeling had started. The food is excellent the service is excellent and the surroundings are beautiful. The appetizers are very good and huge, the salads are wonderful, and the cheesecake we got for dessert was probably the best I've ever had. We did not stay in the room so I did not rake the rooms but I'm sure that the rooms are as well taken care of and beautiful as the rest of the property. We look forward to having more lunches there since it's halfway for both of us and now we're all retired. We were both quite impressed with the remodeling job and the speed of service and the quality of the food. Whoever the chef is do not lose them. Five stars all the way
We love this restaurant! Everything we have tried is exceptional, their steaks are on par with any name-brand steakhouse, and the appetizers are excellent as well. And the servers really know their jobs; they are just attentive enough without being annoying, exactly the way they should be. Based on our experiences there, I don't see how anyone could give them less than a 5-star rating, and we will be back there soon!
Our combination Anniversary and Valentines Day dinner was fabulous! Excellent wine, cocktails and beer selection. Tablecloth dining. Crisp salads. Steak was melt in your mouth! Baked potato was perfect and not overcooked! Too full for dessert! We'll be back! What a hidden gem of place!

Beautiful well kept buidling, friendly staff and ice cold drafts. Wish we had time to eat because the menu looked great...ill be back for the crab cakes for sure
